Betty J. Hurst

Betty J. Hurst, 84, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, at the Laurel Center.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Verna (O'Toole) Banus. Betty was a hardworking and dedicated woman who held many different jobs throughout her life. She spent many years employed at Baldwin Brass, where she worked as a machine operator and was known for her reliability and strong work ethic.

Betty was devoted to her family and took great pride in watching it grow through the generations. She is survived by her son, Gerald Miller and his partner, Jennifer Sherman, of Pottstown; and her daughter, Kim Lash and her husband, Rodney, of Hamburg. She was a loving grandmother to Sarah Hall of Hamburg and Erich William Miller of Danville, and a proud great-grandmother to Evan and Kayden Eisenhardt and Breyden Spayd.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Jeramie Eisenhardt.

Betty will be remembered for her strength and dedication to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
