Betty M. Derr

Betty M. Derr, 90, of Bloomsburg, passed away March 22, 2013 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the widow of Harold A. Derr.

Born in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late Guss and Maud (Clemens) Shaffer.

She attended Bloomsburg High School.

Betty was worked at Ent's restaurant and retired from Sunshine Laundry. She lived in Florida after retirement.

She was a longtime member of Trinity Reformed Church.

Betty enjoyed shopping, reading and the beach. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her two daughters: Patricia "Patti", wife of Richard Deitrich, Bloomsburg and Joanne DeHoff, Wyomissing.

Betty was predeceased by her six siblings: Leon Shaffer, Peter Shaffer, Clyde Shaffer, Martha Webb, Grace Ent and Lucy Haas.
