Betty M. Borda

Betty M. Borda, 95, formerly of Laureldale passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late William F. Borda. They married in 1951.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Gilbert and Florence (Mengel) McNeal. Betty graduated from Muhlenberg High School. She was employed as a secretary at the Rosedale Knitting Mills.

Betty was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale. She was a life master in bridge and enjoyed playing tennis. Betty adored animals, especially her dogs.

Survivors include her children, Terry L. Borda of Laureldale and Ray W. Borda (Laura) of Irvine, CA, and grandchildren, Ryan and Darby. The family would like to thank the Berks Heim staff for taking such good care of our mother for 12 years.

The family wishes to honor Betty's wishes that no service will be held.
