Betty A. Beltz

Betty A. Beltz, 86, of Hamburg, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, in Tower Health Reading Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Richard K. Beltz, who she was married to for 65 years.

Born in New Ringgold, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ellen (Kauffman) Adams.

Betty was a lifelong member of St. Michael's Church.

She was the first of her family to become a high school graduate, graduating from Hamburg High School in 1952.

Betty was employed as a grocery manager at Berg's Thriftway, Shoemakersville, for 35 years.

She was a member of Central Berks Fire Department and Relief Association.

Betty was predeceased by her daughter, Tamara "Tammy" D. Beltz on January 31, 2016. She was known as "Bobo" to her nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements. The family respectfully declines flowers.
