Betty R. Auman

Betty R. (Dadamio) Auman, 78, of Spring Township, died October 5th at 3:56 pm in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township, where she had been since June 7, 2001.

She was the wife of George H. Auman.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Albert R. Dadamio Sr., and Rose S. (Bolognese) Dadamio.

She was a 1945 graduate of Reading High School.

Auman was employed for a number of years as a sales clerk by Zipf's Candy Store, West Reading, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Kenhorst.

Auman is also survived by two sons, Howard Peifer of North Daytona Beach, Florida and Jeffrey G. Auman of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include one brother, Michael Dadamio of Wernersville and two sisters, Theresa (Dadamio) McAlvage of Exeter Township and Rachel (Dadamio) Kowalski of Exeter Township.

There are also three grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 11:00 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Viewing one hour prior to service. Rev. Paul L. Jones officiating. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 501 Washington Street, Suite 801, Reading, Pa 19601.
