Bertha A. Greenawalt

Bertha Anna (Moyer) Greenawalt, 96, formerly of Laureldale, died October 13, 2008 in her Springfield Township, Montgomery County residence.

She was the widow of Albert Greenawalt.

Born November 9, 1911 in Berks County, Bertha was a daughter of the late Oscar and Anna Moyer.

Bertha was employed 10 years with Western Electric, Muhlenberg Township.

She is survived by a son; Richard A., husband of Margaret A. (Bokan) Greenawalt of Wyndmoor, Montgomery County.

Other survivors include a sister; Beulah (Moyer) Witman of Muhlenberg Township and two grandchildren: Katharine A., wife of Brandon Cyr of Summerville, MA and R. Matthew Greenawalt of New York City.

Memorial Services will be held Friday at 10:00 am in Rosedale United Church of Christ, 1301 Bellevue Ave., Laureldale, with the Rev. Richard A. Leiby officiating. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
