Bertha E. Brown

Bertha E. (Clark) Brown, 90, of Upper Bern Township, passed away September 28, 2021, at the Laurel Center.

Her husband, George F. Brown, Sr., died on November 22, 1994.

Born in Jackson Township, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Wolf) Clark.

Bertha was employed by Hamburg State School and Hospital in housekeeping for 24 years.

She enjoyed sewing. Bertha was a warm, caring, selfless woman who will be sincerely missed by all who knew her.

Bertha is survived by three children: George F., husband of Mary Brown, Strausstown, Ronald L., husband of Donna Brown, Sinking Spring and Carrol A., wife of Donald Fetherolf, Tilden Township; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Sharon K. Kunkle and Susan G. Brown.

Services will be Friday, October 1, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 South Fourth St., Hamburg with burial to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
