Bernice J. Mauger

Bernice J. Mauger, 89, of Muhlenberg, died December 13, 2012 in ManorCare Sinking Spring.

She was the widow of John W. Mauger, Sr.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ella (Covely) Kehs.

She was a member of St. Margaret's R.C. Church, Reading.

Bernice is survived by five children: John W. Mauger, Jr., husband of Linda Mauger, Oley; David Mauger, Fleetwood; Martin M., husband of Sue Mauger, Sinking Spring; Carol Roth, Shillington and Marcia A. Ayala, Laureldale. Also surviving is her son-in-law, Thomas Wagner, Spring Township. 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild also survive her.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Suzann M. Wagner on December 7, 2012. She was also predeceased by 6 siblings and a grandchild.

A viewing will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Services will be held at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Margaret's R.C.
