Bernice B. Parisi, 95, a resident of the Highlands at Wyomissing, died July 5 in the Highlands at Wyomissing Skilled Nursing Unit. Her husband, Alfred J. Parisi, died May 26, 1979.
Born in Jeddo, Luzerne County, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Stella (Pikiel) Gagas.
Parisi was employed as a seamer by Bedminster Hosiery, retiring in 1982.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
Surviving is a son, Dr. Vincent A. Parisi and his wife, Mary Louise, Wyomissing; and a daughter, Lorraine and her husband, C. William Fox, Lansdale.
Other survivors include a sister, Helen (Gagas) Suk, Duxbury, Mass.
There also are 12 grandchildren: Vincent Parisi Jr., Elizabeth (Parisi) Daly, Thomas Parisi, Bernice Parisi, Dominic Parisi, Mary Louise Elder, Natalie (Parisi) Bell, Catherine Parisi, Marie Sung, Robert Fox, Sandra High and William Fox; and 33 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington. Burial will be private in St. Dominic Cemetery, Philadelphia.
