Bernice A. Weber

Bernice A. Weber, 88, formerly of Bern Twp. and of Maidencreek Twp., died January 5, 2007 in Reading Hospital where she had been since December 30.

Her husband, Christian A. Weber died September 25, 2006.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Ruth M. (Schreck) Brown.

Mrs. Weber was a secretary for the fromer Lester Brown Candy Company, Laureldale and later was the secretary to the Purchasing Agent at Reading Hospital until her retirment.

She was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School in 1936.

Bernice was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Riverview Park.

Other survivors include one son Christian A. Weber, Jr., Boulder, CO. There are also two grandchildren C. Britt Weber and Chanin Weber and two great grandchildren, Alexandra Weber and Anna Weber. She was predeceased by one son Cary H. Weber in October of 1961.

Services will be private in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be Good Shepherd Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. www.christfuneralhome.com
