Bernard F. Serina

Bernard F. Serina, 77 of Hamburg died in St. Joseph's Medical Center on September 6, 2012. He was the husband of Anna L. (Lazar) Serina. Bernard was born in Coaldale and was the son of the late Stephen and Mary (Kloton) Serina. He graduated from Coaldale High School in 1953 and Thaddeus Steven Trade School, Lancaster in 1956. He was an Army veteran. Bernard worked for P.B. Components in York, PA. He last worked for Berks Products for 30 years retiring in 2005. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Steven of Hamburg and Bernard husband of Pamela Serina of Canton, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Marie Herb. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 Am.
