Bernard T. Binasiewicz

Bernard Thaddeus Binasiewicz, 73, of 39 Woodland Road, Wyomissing, Pa 19610. died July 16th at 5:00 pm in the Emergency Room of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, New Jersey.

He was the husband of Roma E. (Battisti) Binasiewicz.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Stephen Francis and Helen Rose (Zielinski) Binasiewicz.

He was a service manager for 25 years at Singer Equipment Company, Muhlenberg Township, until his retirement in 1992.

Binasiewicz was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

Binasiewicz was a 1948 graduate of Reading High School and a 1959 graduate of Albright College.

He is also survived by a daughter, Victoria M. (Binasiewicz) wife of Dr. Stephen R. Whitmoyer of Wyomissing and two sons; Stephen J. husband of Caryn B. (Hunt) Binasiewicz of Philadelphia and Joseph R. husband of Jennifer C. (Miller) Binasiewicz of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include a sister, Valeria (Binasiewicz) wife of Stanley Kalinowski of Reading and a brother, Ignatius J. husband of Charlotte Binasiewicz of Reading.

There are also five grandchildren, Mary Kate, Jacob, Caroline, Laura and Mary Sarra.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 501 Summit Avenue, Reading. Viewing Tuesday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, Pa 19605.
