Benjamin Reynolds

Benjamin Reynolds, 78, formerly of Shamokin, died Jan. 19 at 8:30 p.m. in Columbia Cottage, Spring Township, where he had resided since March 11, 2002.

Born in Belvidere, N.J., he was a son of the late Walter and Bertha (Moody) Reynolds.

Reynolds was employed for several years as an accountant by various firms in New York City until his retirement.

He was a graduate of Coal Township High School and a graduate of Albright College with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Reynolds was a member of the Welsh Congregational Church, Shamokin.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving is a sister, Ursula E. (Reynolds) Metz, Laureldale.

Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale, is in charge of arrangements.
