Benjamin J. Mast

Benjamin J. "Joby" Mast, 30, of Ruscombmanor Township, passed away May 2, 2014.

He was the loving husband of Emily L. (Mariano) Mast, whom he married August 14, 2010.

Born in West Reading, PA on November 20, 1983, he was a son of Vincent D. and Mitzi L. (Weidner) Mast of Oley Township.

Joby was employed for 13 years with Z Weldco, Oley.

He was a 2002 graduate of Oley Valley High School.

Joby was the kind of person everyone should strive to be. He always had a smile on his face and lent a helping hand to whomever needed it. This is a tragic loss to those who knew him. The world has forever changed.

He was a loving husband, devoted father, loyal son and brother and friend to many he considered family.

Joby was an avid hunter and enjoyed golfing with his brothers.

He is also survived by a beautiful baby boy, Lucas Benjamin Mast, who turned 6 months old in April.

Other survivors include three brothers: Jason V. Mast of Alsace Township, Jonathan L., husband of Rebecca L. (Buzalewski) Mast of Oley and Travis L., husband of Courtney (Zook) Mast of Oley.

Joby was a favorite uncle to his niece, Addison and his three nephews: Lochlan, Griffin and Jack.

Services will be held Friday, May 9th, 11:00 am at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 325 Covered Bridge Road, Oley. Viewings will be held Thursday, May 8th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley and Friday, May 9th from 10:00 am until time of services at the Church.
