Benedetta Bitetto

Benedetta (Tarulli) Bitetto, 102, formerly of Wyomissing, died October 5, 2014, in Manor Care, Sinking Spring.

Her husband, Vincenzo Bitetto, died March 12, 1980.

Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Arcangelo and Lucia (Mele) Tarulli.

She was employed as a seamstress in Brooklyn, NY.

Benedetta was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She is survived by two children: Dr. Nicola, husband of Lorraine Bitetto, Wyomissing and Anna, widow of Anthony Elefterion , Brooklyn, NY; her step-brother, Rocco, husband of Lena Tarulli, Clifton, NJ; and five grandchildren: Michael Bitetto, Nicholas Bitetto, Joseph Bitetto, Elainie Elefterion and Benedetta, wife of Raymond Elefterion.

Benedetta was predeceased by her sisters: Lena, Diana, and Frances.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday in St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, Brooklyn, NY. Burial was in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
