Barry Herbert Street, 71 of Muhlenberg Township, died March 16, 2010 in his daughter's Muhlenberg Township residence.
He was the husband of Mary Ellen (Rittle) Street who died February 19, 2009.
Born May 8, 1938 in West Reading, he was a son of the late Albert and Katherine (MacClatchey) Street.
Barry was employed as a book binder with Arnold's Book Bindery, Reading for 29 years. He was also a past employee of The Washington Post.
Surviving are three children: Christine L. Thompson of Blossburg, Tioga County; Daniel L., husband of Crystal (Roth) Street of Tilden Township and Diane M. Shepler-Klinger, wife of Todd N. Klinger of Muhlenberg Township.
Other survivors include, two brothers, his twin, Larry A., husband of Beverly (Spang) Street of Sinking Spring and Garry, husband of Sandra Street of Laureldale.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Melanie, Valerie, Stacy, Tiffany, Alicia, KimmieLee, Joseph, Tyler and Courtney and eight great grandchildren, Seth, Madison, Aiden, Carter, Kayleigh, Samantha, Dane and Aubrey.
Barry was predeceased by a brother, Harry David Street.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Muhlenberg Township. A visitation will be held from 1:00 until the time of service in the chapel.
