Barry L. Sittaro

Barry Lee "Pete" Sittaro, 56, of Mohnton, died November 4, 2011 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born June 18, 1955 in Reading, he was a son of the late Donald R. and Beverly J. (Larish) Sittaro.

He was the husband of Mary E. (Richard) Sittaro.

Barry was a 1973 graduate of Reading High School.

He was employed as an operator with the City of Reading Water Treatment Plant for 17 years, last working, March, 2010. Prior to that, Barry was employed with Salino's for many years.

Barry enjoyed golfing and playing baseball and softball in his younger years. He also was an avid baseball fan.

Also surviving is a son, Michael R., husband of Jennifer E. (Bowman) Sittaro of Denver, CO.

In addition, there are three siblings, James W., husband of Linda Sittaro of Orwigsburg; Sandra L. McMullen of Reading and Donna L., wife of Dennis Franco of Reading.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
