Barry William Schrader

Barry William Schrader, 68, of Oley Township died August 31, 2013 in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township.

He was the significant other to Linda Herbert for over 25 years.

Born August 31, 1944 in West Reading, he was a son of the late William H. and Myrtle E. (Strause) Schrader.

Barry was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

He was employed in electronics and maintenance with what is now Ageré for over 30 years, retiring in 2002.

Barry served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.

He was a member of Lower Alsace Fire Company Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling and leather working.

Surviving is his son, Adam W.J., husband of Rachel E. (Groves) Schrader of Reading.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. For online condolences, visit www.kuhnstitzelfuneralhomes.com.
