Barry E. Kreisher, 88, passed away on July 18, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Trevena) Kreisher. They married in February 2003, and shared 21 wonderful years together.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Walter and Alberta (Leitham) Kreisher. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He worked as a lab technician at N.G.K. Metals Corp. for many years.
Barry was a member of St. Catherine of Siena. He enjoyed reading, going golfing and spending time with his friends and family. He will be remembered for his soft spoken personality, his devotion to his children, and his sense of humor.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, those left to cherish Barry's memory include his children: Christie A. Wenrich, Steven B. Kreisher, husband of Diane; his step-children: James Moyer, husband of Tammy, Michael Moyer, husband of Carrie, David Moyer, husband of Fran, and William Trevena, husband of Cory; his grandchildren: Maegan McGill, Heather Wenrich, Sarah Kreisher, and Elizabeth Swoyer; and his step-grandchildren: David, Benjamin, Michael, Angeline, Bernadette, James, John, Cecilia, Kobe, Henry, Gabe, and Alex; and his sister, Dolores Horrigan. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his first wife Mary Jo (Lesniewski) Kreisher; his daughter, Susan E. Swoyer; and his sister, Adelaide M. Parks.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena, Exeter Township, with inurnment to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the start of service at the church.
