Barry P. Gehret

Barry Paul Gehret, Jr., 55, died of natural causes March 15th in his Bern Township residence.

He was the husband of Diane L. (Doebling) Gehret of Dillsburg.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of Barry P. Gehret Sr., of Muhlenberg Township and the late Suzann A. (Steffey) Gehret.

He was a 1968 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and a 1972 graduate of Drexel University.

Gehret was the owner/operator since 1986 of Lamcor Tech Corporation, Hamburg, last working in 2005.

He was the president (1998 - Present) of the Berks Mineralogical Society.

Gehret is also survived by a sister, Susan L. (Gehret) Kiscadden of Womelsdorf.

Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Greater Berks Food Bank, 1011 Tuckerton Court, Reading, Pa 19605. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
