Barbara Yatron

Barbara Yatron, 77, passed away on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 at Penn State St. Joseph Hospital after a six year long battle with lung cancer. She was the loving wife of William P. Yatron with whom she shared 38 years of marriage before his passing in 2007.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late C. Edgar and Ruth (Stump) Henning. She was a graduate of Wyomissing High School and attended McCann Business School as a young woman. She worked as a medical secretary before she took leave to raise her two children. She worked at CVS Pharmacy until her retirement in 2020. Barbara enjoyed playing cards, reading, and a good glass of wine.

Left to cherish her memory are son, Chris Yatron, husband of Heather (Heck) of Wernersville; daughter, Amy Savant, of Wernersville; granddaughters, Eleana and Celaney Yatron; and a dear companion, Neil Kurz.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 6th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue West Reading, PA 19611. Private interment will be at Belleman's Church Cemetery.
