Barbara A. Sponagle

Barbara Ann (Petriccione) Sponagle, 65, died May 30, 2007 at 1:56 pm in her Spring Township residence.

She was the wife of George E. Sponagle, Jr., whom she married November 18, 1961.

Born August 21, 1941 in Reading, she was a daughter of Florence (DeAngelis) Petriccione of Reading and the late Joseph Petriccione.

She was a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

Barbara was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She is also survived by two sons, Brian E. husband of Karen E. (Wenrich) Sponagle and Kevin M. Sponagle all of Spring Township.

Other survivors include a sister, JoAnn (Petriccione) wife of Edward Wagner of Ringose, New Jersey.

There are also four grandchildren, Alicia L., Stephanie E., Matthew K., and Christopher E.

Prayer Services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading with the Monsignor Felix A. Losito celebrating.
