Barbara Ann Secrist

Barbara Meyers Secrist, 63, formerly of Westport and wife of Edward Secrist passed away September 7, 2012 at Reading Hospital & Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Barbara was born in Pottsville, PA daughter of the late Harold and Ann (Fatula) Harris.

She worked as a Para-legal for the Westport Town attorney for many years, in addition she was an elected official and served on the RTM from 1989 thru 1993.

Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Auriemme and her husband Jon, three sons, Frank Culmone and his wife Amanda, Christopher Culmone and Robert Meyers and his wife Andrea. Three sisters, Pat Harris, Donna Iafrate and her husband Angelo, Joan Mest and her husband Bob, five brothers, Robert Harris and his wife Linda, Bruce (Jim) Harris, Peter Harris and his wife Nancy, Thomas Harris, Jerome Harris and his wife Bobbi; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition Barbara was also predeceased by one sister Arlene.

Visitation will take place Saturday September 22, 2012 in the Harding Funeral Home 210 Post Road East, Westport, CT 06880 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a Memorial Service to take place at 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
