Barbara A. Rossi-Malayter

Barbara Ann (DeSantis) Rossi-Malayter, 72, of Spring Township, died October 13, 2009 in the Golden Living Center, Exeter Township, where she had been a patient for one week.

She was the widower of the late Louis John Rossi and the late Julius Malayter.

Born in West Reading, PA on July 13, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Louis R. and Lucy M. (Sturgis) DeSantis.

She was a 1955 graduate of Wilson High School.

Barbara is survived by two children: LuAnne (Rossi) Bell of Spring Township and Christopher L. Rossi of Okeechobee, Florida.

Other survivors include two siblings: Mary Ann (DeSantis), widow of Neil Bensing of Reading and Michael DeSantis of Stony Creek Mills.

There are also six grandchildren: Gino Bell, Maria Bell, Franklin Bell, husband of Kerry-Ann, Tori Bell, Jeremy Rossi and Taylor Rossi and three great grandchildren: Nevin Carter, Niyanna Carter and Hayden Bell.

She was predeceased by a brother, Stephen DeSantis.

Prayer Services will be private. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township.
