Barbara Ann (Pastore) Pauley, 60, died February 25th at 9:10 am in her residence at 1841 Mount Laurel Road, Temple.

She was the wife of Norman H. Pauley Sr.

Born in Reading she was a daughter of the late Anthony Pastore and Fern M. (Wesner) Shoemaker.

She was employed as a laborer for 10 years at the former Beckerman's Shoe Factory, Reading.

Pauley was later the owner / operator of Pauley's Pub at 9th and Oley Streets from 1972 until 1980.

She was last employed by White Brothers Roofing, Ontelaunee Township as their Secretary for a number of years, before retiring in 2000.

Pauley was a Past Treasurer and Trustee of the former Cannibal Club, 13th and Oley Streets from 1986-1996.

She is also survived by a daughter, Kim Marie Pauley, at home and two sons, Norman H. Jr., of Muhlenberg Township and Brian Lee at home.

Other survivors include a brother, David Shoemaker of Blue Bell, Montgomery County and four grandchildren; Dacoda Pauley, Bryanna Debinder, Casey Pauley and Jarred Roeder.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Laureldale, Pa 19605.
