Barbara Marie Murnane

Beloved wife and mother Barbara Marie Murnane, 65, of Wyomissing, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27, 2021. She and her husband, Daniel Murnane, were married for 35 years.

Born in Norristown to the late John J. and Margaret "Peg" (McGrath) Hatch, Barbara received her R.N. from The Bryn Mawr School of Nursing. She later completed her course work at Villanova University. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Lankenau Hospital of Philadelphia before relocating to the Reading Area. After she home schooled her six children, she resumed her employment at Reading Hospital in the NICU.

Left to treasure Barbara's memory are her beloved husband, Dan; their six children, Stephen, Laura, Joseph, Monica, Thomas, and Regina; their grandchildren Connor and Finan; and her sisters and brother Ellie, Patrick, and Kate. Barbara was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Jack.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 10 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2600 St Albans Dr, Reading, PA 19609, with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. The viewing will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 6 until 9 PM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA, 19611.
