Barbara A. Matthews

Barbara A. Matthews, 64, of Exeter Township, passed away on Thursday morning, September 8, 2011 in her residence.

She was the wife of Jerome "Jerry" G. Matthews.

Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Catherine (Aukstalians) Spontak.

She was a graduate of St. Pius X High School, Pottstown and was employed with Weis Markets, Oley.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Jerome G. Matthews, Jr. of Laureldale; Scott Matthews and Chad R. Matthews, both of Exeter Township; Karen Wyatt of Exeter Township; Jeffrey Matthews of Laureldale and Kevin Matthews of St. Lawrence. Also her Sister: Cathy Barton of Pottstown and her Brothers: Stephen Spontak of Chicago and David Spontak of Ludwigs Corner. Also surviving are 8 Grandchildren.

Services and Burial will be private at the family's convenience.
