Barbara J. Lonaberger

Barbara J. Lonaberger, 77, of West Reading, passed away January 9, 2013 in ManorCare West Reading.

Her husband, Leon Lonaberger, died in 1997.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Irvin and Edna (Witmer) Harding.

Barbara worked as a packer for R.M. Palmer Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1997.

She was a member of Central Park United Methodist Church, Reading, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.

Barbara was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Known as Nana, she loved spending time with her grandsons and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her two children: Barry L., husband of Donna L. Lonaberger, Narvon and Kelly L. Lonaberger, West Reading. Also surviving are her siblings: Allen Harding, Ephrata; Lee Harding, Shillington; Gene Harding, Pottstown; Betty Latshaw, Reading; June Lamonica, Shillington and Shirley Harding, Wernersville. Two grandchildren: Kyle and Brandon also survive her.

Services will be Saturday, January 19th at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to Heartland Hospice, 4 Park Plaza, #105A, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
