Barbara A. Lemay

Barbara A. LeMay, 77, formerly of Reading, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021, in Tower Health Reading Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Orland K. LeMay, Sr., who passed away August 4, 2017.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth (Lawley) Moyer.

Barbara was employed as a private nurse's aide for most of her life.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, her trips to Atlantic City, and bingo.

Barbara is survived by three children: Barbara L. LeMay, Reading; Kim, wife of David Shefter, Hamburg; and Orland K., Jr., husband of Heidi LeMay, Exeter Township. Five grandchildren: David, Nathan, Darren, Kayla, and Leah, four great grandchildren; and four siblings: Ralph Moyer, Jr., Exeter; Deb Hartman, Blandon; Lynn Pinder, Leesport; and Ruth Sheetz, Reading, also survive her.

She was predeceased by two sisters: Helen Kobylakiewicz, and Sherry Moyer.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday, April 5, 2021, at 12 P.M., at Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. in the funeral home. Please follow covid-19 protocol if attending.
