Barbara A. Knappenberger

Barbara A. Knappenberger, 71, of Reading, passed away on April 5th at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Her husband, Milan J. Knappenberger, Jr., passed away on June 21, 1993.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Alice (Schwartz) Gring.

Barbara was an excellent grandmother, and would love to watch her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Michael A. husband of Kathleen M. Knappenberger, Exeter Township, and Steven B. husband of Sharon L. Knappenberger, Robesonia, and one daughter, Kelly A. Knappenberger wife of Pedro J. Rivera, Reading.

She is also survived by one brother, Charles Gring, Reading, and one sister, Betty (Gring) Eckert, Blandon.

There are also four grandchildren, Jordan Rivera, Stacey Fasig, Tabitha Knappenberger, and Ray Leininger, and two great grandchildren, Alexis Fasig and Ashton Fasig.

Barbara was predeceased by one brother, Irvin Gring and one sister Fern (Gring) Tregea.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in the Laureldale Cemetery.
