Barbara Garland

Barbara Garland, 84, of Hamburg, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, in Maidencreek Place.

She was the beloved wife of Samuel T. Garland who died December 24, 2016.

Born in Pottsville, PA., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rosalie (Chylack) Potts.

Barbara was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Hamburg.

She was employed as an aide at the Hamburg Center for 30 years, retiring in 1996.

Barbara is survived by two sons: Samuel Garland, husband of Connie Garland, Lenhartsville; and Eric. P., Garland, husband of Cindy Garland, Oley. Five grandchildren; Kelly, Kacey, Kyle, Heather and Ben,; and a sister, Rosalie A. Piede, Allentown, also survive her. She is preceded in death by a sister Teddy Stewart.

Barbara's family is very grateful to the staff of Maidencreek Place Assisted Living Center for their outstanding compassionate care.
