Barbara A. Baer

Barbara A. Baer, age 87 , formerly of Wyomissing, passed away on September 8, 2021 in the care of Mifflin Center in Shillington.

She was born on August 15, 1934 to Paul R. Baer and Helen S. Baer (Scheetz) in West Reading.

Barbara graduated from Reading High School in 1952 before attending the Reading Hospital School of Nursing for two years before becoming a medical transcriptionist for the Caron Foundation until 1993 retiring as the office manager. After retirement she worked as the medical transcriptionist for Dr. Paul Lafata.

She was predeceased by her son, Peter M. Lorish, in January of 2016, and is survived by her cousin, Nancy L. Ryan, Cumberland, RI.

Barbara was a resident of the Mifflin Center for the past 5 years.
