Audrey R. Weller

Audrey Rose (Endy) Weller, 82, of Laureldale, died November 15, 2010 in Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehab Center, Columbia, Lancaster County.

She was married September 15, 1951 to Arthur F. Weller, who died March 20, 2010.

Born July 3, 1928 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Endy and Mary K. (Wilson) George.

Audrey was a 1946 graduate of Reading High School.

She was employed as an operator with Bell Telephone for 38 years, retiring in 1983.

Audrey was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

She was a member of Telephone Pioneers.

Audrey is survived by a brother, Charles, husband of Deb George of Mount Joy and two sisters, Sandra, widow of Jacob Harding of Fleetwood and Patsy, widow of John Clouse of Mount Joy.

She is also survived by a son-in-law, Paul N. Zimmerman of Reading.

Audrey was predeceased by a daughter, Marcia L. Zimmerman who died December 18, 2009 and four brothers, Jack, James and Richard Endy and Bruce George.

Services will be Friday, November 26 at 10 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with the Rev. Thomas F. Irwin, Jr., officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
