Audrey L. Randall

Audrey L. (Greenough) Randall, 95, of Tilden Township, passed away January 4, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, with her loving family beside her. Born in Cowley, PA, on August 15, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Annabel (Shoemaker) Greenough. She grew up on the family farm in Granville Center and attended Troy PA High School where she was active in glee club and was crowned May Queen in 1948, her senior year.

She was the widow of Charles “Jake” Randall, who passed away in 2020. Together, they enjoyed 70 years of marriage, living in several states along the eastern seaboard. Throughout her lifetime, Audrey always found ready employment, mostly as bookkeeper or accountant, in a variety of businesses, including stores, banks, schools, and hospitals. She finished her career working many years as business manager for Friends House Nursing Home and Retirement Community in Sandy Spring, Maryland.

Audrey's life was centered on family and her Christian faith. She was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and was passionate about Bible study and teaching. She was blessed with a generosity of spirit, always willing to share her time and resources to help and encourage others. She lived quietly, but with her ready wit and empathy, she made friends easily and became a mentor to many. She loved to see children and they always responded warmly to her. In addition to her nurturing spirit, Audrey enjoyed time spent reading, gardening, cooking, and keeping in touch with extended family and friends scattered throughout the country.

The last of her generation, Audrey was predeceased by her four siblings: Joyce (Bixby), Hugh Greenough, Barbara (Foster), and Kay (LeBlanc). She is survived by her three children: Toni, wife of Matt Wlasniewski, Hamburg, PA; Vickie, wife of David Bugg, Hagerstown, MD; and Gary, husband of Linda (Adams), Montrose, CO. There are also six grandchildren: Andy Wlasniewski; Nic, Alexis and Zac Bugg; Caitlin and Nathan Randall; plus seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Sunday, January 25, at the Hampden Heights SDA Church, 2706 Old Pricetown Road, Temple, PA 19560. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the worthy student fund of Reading SDA Junior Academy, 309 Kenhorst Blvd, Reading, PA 19607.
