Audrey J. Haubrich

Audrey J. Haubrich, 84, of Reading, passed away February 13, 2014 in ManorCare Laureldale.

Her husband, John A. Haubrich, died in 2002.

Born June 5, 1929 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles D. and Esther A. (DeWald) Hoff.

She was a seamstress for over 30 years, working for Astor Knitting Mill, Reading.

Audrey was a wonderful mother and was very active in her children's lives. She served on the PTA, was a playground associate at 6th & Amity, a den mother, and also a Blue Bird leader. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her three children: Kirk A., husband of Donna M. Haubrich, Muhlenburg Township; Marci R. Haubrich, wife of Harry Battle, Reading; and Joni J. Haubrich, companion of Nelson A. Soto, Reading. Also surviving are her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Audrey was predeceased by her two siblings: Carol and Jay.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
