Audrey May Ebersole

Audrey May Ebersole, 73, passed away July 12, 2014 in her Emmaus Village.

She was the widow of John Raymond Ebersole and is survived by her companion, Lawrence Foley, Emmaus.

Born April 3, 1941 in Reading she was a daughter of the late Robert and Eva Pauline (Strohl) Ernst.

She was a clean room technician for Lucent Technologies for over 30 years.

Audrey lived an active life. She enjoyed beach vacations in Rehoboth, swimming, boating, and skiing. In her younger years she also rode horses. She was an avid bingo player and liked bowling and playing cards. She was a caring, compassionate person who loved animals, babysitting her grandchildren and being involved in their lives.

She was a member of Calvery Lutheran Church, Muhlenberg Township.

Audrey is survived by her three children: John E., husband of Joni Ebersole, Quakertown; Barbara A., wife of Kevin A'Hearn, Moore Township; and Sherry M., wife of Terry Becker, New Ringgold. Also surviving are her siblings: Melody Rapp, Shoemakersville; George Ernst, Reading; Ronald Ernst, Laureldale, and Eric Ernst, Shoemakersville. Ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive her.

She was predeceased by her son, Daniel L. Ebersole, and her siblings: Robert, Phillip, Gary, and Laverne.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
