Athanasios E. Douventzidis

Tony passed away peacefully at Reading Hospital on May 7 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. His final days were full of love as we shared memories of a life well-lived. The stories reflected a compassionate and kind soul who sought to be an encouragement to the people around him. His generosity left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Tony is survived by his wife Lesley, their children Nikolas, Andrew (Christine), and Katherine (Matthew) and his granddaughter Georgiana, who brought him immeasurable joy. Also survived by his mom, Sotiria, sister Elpida, and brother, Michael, as well as his in-laws George and Elsie with whom he had a loving relationship. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Evangelos. The family will take time to grieve before arranging a celebration of life.
