Arthur S. Ott, C Bear, 61, of Tilden Township, died of natural causes at his residence on May 15th at 1:18 p.m.
He was the husband of Carol A. (Hartman) Ott of Tilden Township.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Pauline (Segars) Ott and the Step- son of Clarence T. Ott, Sr. of Reading.
He received his G.E.D in the Army.
Ott was the maintenance supervisor for Dana Corporation, Reading, for 22 years until his retirement in 2000.
He was an Army Veteran.
Ott was a life-time member of Vietnam Veterans of America and life-time member of Shartlesville Fish and Game. He was a post commander of the Hamburg American Legion. He was also a life-time member of the Harley owner's group.
He is survived by four daughters, Kristine (Anuszewski) Seidel, Reading; Michelle Ott, Fleetwood; Melinda (Ott) McMullen, Temple; and Christy (Ott) Bucks, Malvern; and two step-sons Kenneth P. Guard, Jr., Fayetteville, NC; and Todd M. Petzak, Nashville, TN.
Other survivors include one brother Clarence T. Ott, Jr., Temple; and one sister, Barbara Ott, Reading.
There are also 7 Grandchildren, 5 Step- Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Belluvue Ave. Reading, PA 19605, or Vietnam Veterans of America 8605 Cameron Street, Suite 400 Silver Spring, Maryland 20910-3710. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
