Arthur C. Noll

Arthur C. Noll Sr., 79, died June 30, 2014, in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Noble) Noll, whom he has been happily married to for 57 years.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Arthur B. Noll and step-son and son of Edward and Josephine (Tankus) Gomosky.

Arthur was employed for 34 years by Misco Product as a foreman until his retirement.

He was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading.

Arthur loved the beach and enjoyed exercising. He participated in the Keystone State Senior Games, where he won many medals and broke records for speed walking.

He was an avid fan of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Debra, wife of James Folk, Mohrsvile; Michele, wife of Brent Katzenmoyer, Leesport and Coleen, wife of Dennis Remp, Sinking Spring. Also surviving is his sister Tina, wife of Stewart McDonough, West Reading. Eight grandchildren, Kelly, Vincent, Sean, David, Arthur III, Sheena, Morgan, and Madison and four great- grandchildren, Ethan, Aubrey, Jevin and Broxton also survive him. Arthur was predeceased by his son, Arthur C. Noll Jr., brother, Carl Noll and sister, Doris O'Toole.

Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. Contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the charity of your choice in Arthur's name.
