Arthur L. Moyer

Arthur L. Moyer, 85, formerly of Portland Avenue, Spring Township, died Nov. 17 at 5:10 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services Inc., West Reading, where he had been a resident since May 15.

He was the husband of R. Jeanette (Reber) Moyer.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harold and Mary (Moore) Moyer.

Moyer had been employed for 25 years by Narrow Fabric, retiring as an inspector Apr. 1, 1980.

He was a 1935 graduate of Reading High School.

Moyer was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a stepdaughter, Kathleen L. (Linderman) Glass, West Wyomissing.

Other survivors include a brother, Kenneth, of Muhlenberg Park; and a sister, Jeanne Moyer, West Wyomissing.

There are also two stepgranddaughters and two stepgreat-granddaughters.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
