Arthur F. Lumley

Arthur F. Lumley, 85, died April 30, 2010 in ManorCare of Laureldale.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Arthur and Agnes (Garrigan) Lumley.

Arthur was a 1942 graduate of Reading Catholic High School and attended Wharton School of Business.

He worked as a cost accountant for AT&T until his retirement.

Arthur was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Reading.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in WWII.

Arthur is survived by his brother, James J. Lumley, Boyertown.

He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret M. Rhoads.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd., Reading. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's R.C.
