Arthur G. Huey

Arthur G. Huey, 80, died October 3rd in his Muhlenberg Township residence.

He was the husband of Gladys (Trievel) Huey.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Samuel and Coreta (Riegel) Huey.

He was a 1942 graduate of Reading High School.

Huey worked for 30 years as a meat cutter at Rapp Brothers, Reading.

He later worked at MetEd, first as a store clerk then in the maintenance department and last working in the print shop.

Huey was an Army Veteran of WWII.

He was a life member of the Temple Fire Company, Muhlenberg Township, North End Rod & Gun Club Association, Reading and the Excelsior Beneficial Association, Reading.

Huey is also survived by a son, Steven A. Huey of Ruscombmanor Township and a daughter, Sharon (Huey) Bossler of Spring Township.

Other survivors include two grandchildren, Derek M. Bossler of Spring Township and Taylor D. Huey of Ruscombmanor Township.

Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Thursday 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, Pa 19605.
