Arthur L. Frederick

Arthur L. Frederick, 97, died November 22, 2016, at Elmcroft Personal Care, Exeter Township.

He was the widower of Carolyn (Richel) Frederick. They married January 26, 1946.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late J. Reuben and Anna Frederick.

He was a graduate of Reading High School.

Arthur was a U.S. Army veteran stationed in Australia during WWII.

He was employed by Reading Tube as an electrician.

Arthur was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington where he served as a volunteer.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Frederick, spouse of Beth Calabria, Flying Hills; three grandchildren: Alisha Weglinski; Micah Weglinski; and Nicole Weglinski; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Arthur is predeceased by a brother, Carl Frederick, and a sister, Alberta Moyer.

The family would like to thank the staff at Elmcroft Senior Living and Grane Hospice for their compassionate care and love for Arthur during his time spent there.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 10 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will follow in Laureldale Cemetery.
