Arthur E. Breitenstein

Arthur E. Breitenstein, 85, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away on May 1st at Sun Valley Care Home, Eloy, Arizona.

His wife Evelyn Mae (Zeller) Breitenstein, passed away on March 27th, 2004.

Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Arthue E. and Virginia A. (Breidenstein) Breitenstein, Sr.

Arthur was a graduate of Mohnton High School.

He worked as a Welder Fabricator for Reading Steel Products for a number of years. He also worked for the Penn Iron Company, Spring Township as a welder for 10 years until his retirement in 1983.

Arthur was a Navy veteran of World War II and Korea.

He was life time members of the Gouglersville Fire Company, and VFW POST #9045 of Mohnton.

Arthur is survived by one daughter, Sandra L. Ford, Arizona City, Az, and two brothers, Marvin J., Mohnton and Arlan P., Melbourne, Fl.

There are also three grandchildren, Dawn Wurst, Barry Wurst, and Eric Wurst, and three great grandchildren, Colleen Godwin, Danielle Godwin, and Samuel Wurst.

He is predeceased by two sisters, Virginia Christman, and Gloria Yacher.

Funeral services will be on Friday, May 11th at 10:30 a.m. at Wyomissing United Church of Christ, 2 Vermont Road, Sinking Spring, Pa 19608. Burial will be in Wyomissing Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the service at the church. Contributions may be made to the Wyomissing U.C.C. at the above address. Edward J.
