Arline H. Rhoads

Arline H. Rhoads, 87, formerly of Boyertown, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 1:50 am in Orwigsburg Center, where she was a resident since February 16th.

She was the wife of Lyman L. Rhoads, also a resident at Orwigsburg Center.

Born in Colebrookdale Township, she was a daughter of the late Walter G. and Bertha B. (Reifsnyder) Houck.

She was a Lifetime member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Boyertown, where she had previously sang in the choir.

Although her family was her life, she also enjoyed sewing, and making quilts.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter: Martha R. Delbo of Shoemakersville and her Son: Lawrence H. Rhoads of Northampton. Also her 4 Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Sister: Anna Mae Kulp.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 24,2009 at 11:00 am in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 35 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, Pa. 19512. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown. Friends and Family may view on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 am in the church. In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the church at the address above to benefit the music program.

Blankenbiller Funeral Home, Oley, has been entrusted with Arline's final arrangements.
