Arline Eva (Rahn) Moyer, 90, of Maidencreek Township, died November 12, 2009 in the Hearthstone at Maidencreek Assisted Living, where she had been a patient since October 28th.
She was the wife of Howard R. Moyer, who died September 29, 2008.
Born in Greenwich Township on August 8, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Byron and Maggie (Christman) Rahn.
She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Molltown and a member of the Fleetwood Grange #1839.
Arline and her late husband worked as farmers for 50 years, retiring in 1997.
She also worked a number of years at both the John G. Mertz Funeral Home and the Walter R. Christ Funeral Home as a cleaner.
Arline is survived by a daughter, Linda M. (Moyer) Fritzinger of Ontelaunee Township and a granddaughter, Kelly Ann (Fritzinger), wife of Craig A. Pauley of South Heidelberg Township.
Other survivors include four great grandchildren: Jeremy R., Justin H., Matthew J. and Jessica M.
She was predeceased by a son, Howard A. Moyer, Jr., who died May 27, 1973 and by a grandson, Kevin H. Fritzinger, who died August 24, 1993.
Arline was also predeceased by three siblings: Irene Reidenhour, Hilda McAfee and Willis Rahn.
Services will be held Monday at 10:00 am in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 219 Maidencreek Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522, with the Rev. William H. Snyder officiating. Viewings will be held Sunday 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale and Monday 9:30 - 10:00 am in the Church.
