Arlette A. Faust, 76, of South 19th Street died Sept. 6 at 12:49 p.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient for four days.
She was the wife of Fred L. Faust.
Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Maurer) Koenig.
Faust had been employed as an outpatient accounting clerk by Reading Hospital, retiring in 1995. She previously worked for 15 years as a legal secretary for J.A. Yeager Co.
She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Mount Penn, where she served as secretary of the senior citizens group.
Faust was a 1945 graduate of Central Catholic High School.
She is also survived by a daughter, Lynn M. (Faust) Gill, Atlanta; and two sons, Richard A., Kutztown, and Fred J., Salem, Va.
Other survivors include a brother, William Koenig, Reading.
There are also seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
