Arlene A. Youse

Pottstown-

Arlene A. (Stumhofer) Youse, 89, of Pottstown, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 4, 2012 in her residence with her family by her side.

Born in Exeter Township, she was the wife of the late Morris G. Youse, and the daughter of the late Edward H. and Annie E. (Auman) Stumhofer.

Arlene worked for 15 years as a machine operator for Sunset Manufacturing in Pottstown until her retirement in 1985.

She was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC, the 1940 graduating class of Oley Valley High School, and a proud member of TOPS.

She is survived by two sons and their wives: Allen L. and JoEllen Youse of Shoemakersville and Steven L. and Karen Youse of Limerick; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Thomas Wilke of Boyertown and Elverson; a sister, Ruth Harpel, widow of Franklin Harpel, Perkiomenville; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Ray and Thomas Stumhofer.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St., Oley, PA 19547 at 10:30 am with Rev. James R. Roth officiating. Burial will follow in Friedens Cemetery, Oley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Rd., East Greenville, PA 18041.
