Arlene M. Yoder

Arlene M. Yoder, 78, of Oley, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in the St. Joseph Medical Center.

She was the wife of Amos J. Yoder.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Adam and Nellie (Dietrich) Moyer.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and an avid gardener. She was a member of Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, Pleasantville.

She was lastly employed as a seamstress with Ernst Licht Embroidery, Oley until retiring.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son: Kevin A. Yoder and his life partner Harvey L. Hurdle, Jr. of Philadelphia. She is also survived by her grandson: Evan J. Hurdle-Yoder. She was predeceased by her daughter Linda in 1973 and was also predeceased by a sister: Elaine Tothero and two brothers: Terry Moyer and Frank Moyer.

Services will be held in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Friends and family may view on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am.
