Arlene M. Miller

Arlene M. Miller, 89, died July 29, 2011 in Kutztown Manor.

Her husband, Ray A. Miller, passed away March 11, 2011.

Born in Molltown, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Ida S. (Strunk) Anderson.

Arlene and her husband owned and operated Arlene & Ray's Cafe, Fleetwood, for almost 12 years and later, she worked as a machine operator for Saucony Shoe Factory, Kutztown.

She was a member of Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

Arlene enjoyed bowling and golf.

She was a member of the Ladies Fire Auxiliary , Lyons, PA.

Arlene is survived by her siblings: James L., husband of Mary Jane Anderson, Fleetwood and Esther H., wife of Harry O. Bingaman, Blandon. Also suriving are her nieces: Bonnie, wife of Terry L. Rarick and Ruth, widow of Terry Manmiller and her nephews: Mark S., husband of Kathleen Bingaman; Roger, husband of Phyllis Anderson; David, husband of Garnet Anderson; Russell, husband of Marsha Anderson and Robert, husband of Jackie Anderson.

She was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Pearl Anderson.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale. A viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery.
